Please Help about my desktop icons

I opened my desktop properties. I don't think I change anything, when I click ok, my desktop icons turned out to be like this. There is the grey shading on each icon. It was not there previously. For your information, I use NVIDIA Ge Force 6100
Click the picture to have a clearer view
It does not affect my performance but it is irritating.

Go into the control panel, and double click on system. In the advanced tab, under the performance box, click settings, and check the box that says "use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop". Then click ok. That should solve it.
