Please help me decide which laptop to buy

Hehe maybe it's not time for me to go after brands. I'm still a student so still have to save money for tuition. x3
Another thing I keep seeing is difference between 64 bit and 32 bit in the Windows 7 included with certain laptops. What is the difference between these two? I heard some programs are not compatible with 64 bit Windows?

You need to find out what requirements your college has first. If you need the ability to authenticate against a domain controller you will have to get Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate. Then you need to figure out what applications your classes will require your work to be done in, if any. Once you figure that out, it is all about budget and preferences.

If you were like me in college and have all day of classes (from 8AM to 8PM on some days) then you may want to look at extended battery life or extra batteries for your laptop.

32 bit and 64 bit versions are included on some W7 DVD's.

I've been running W7 64 bit for more than a week now and have had absolutely now trouble with it at all. All my 32 bit app's run fine under W7 64 bit. W7 64 bit is pretty fast too.
