Hi
I myself am a computer geek, so i think i know what i am doing, but im not quite sure
. I have a dual boot HP Pavilion a1320a, upgraded to 1gb of ram. I have vista ultimate and xp (the one it came with), but i would like to remove both operating systems and just have it with ubuntu linux. I have already downloaded Ubuntu release 7.10, and burnt it to a cd with Sonic DigitalMedia on windows laptop and also with Toast 8 on my mac. I have downloaded Ubuntu over 3 times, because when i was trying to install them in Parallels, it didnt work, but the last one seemed to work, and thats the one i tryed to boot off. Anyways, my computer that i am trying to install it on doesnt want to boot off the disc. I am able to get it to boot off a windows xp disc i had lying around, but thats it. Can anyone please help me...Im only 14 ?
