Hi all! I am working on my first build, and after many hours of research, I have settled on the following system:

Intel Core i7 2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz LGA1155
ASUS P8Z68-V Pro LGA 1155 ATX
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4x4GB) 240-pin DDR3 1600
ZOTAC ZT-50101-10P GeForce GTX 580
Corsair HX850 850W ATX 12v Power Supply
Crucial M4 128GB SATA III SSD (for Operating System)
(2) WD Caviar Black 2TB 7200RPM 3.5" (to be configured in RAID-1 for data storage)
Cooler Master HAF 932 ATX Full Tower Case

The full hardware list can be viewed here

The rig will be used for HD video editing, visual effects, and 3D modelling/animation....not so much for gaming. What do you think? Any issues that I have overlooked, or other preferences in hardware that I should consider?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

this board may be a little better

and Zotac isn't a great brand, and for a single 580 850w is way overkill, even for 2 you only need 750 to 800, 850 is good for that if that's the plan, but look at these

first 2 are modular so you can unplug some of the wires.
