Please help me pick a laptop!

I am very good with computers, just not with understanding the hardware/features. Here is what I am looking for:

1. Something under $300. I am willing to get a LITTLE above that, but not much.

2. I want something that can support a browser based online game. I play Runescape (yes I know, don't trash it, please.) It is a browser based game, but I'm not sure how much power I need to handle it.

3. I am currently in school, so need something that will be able to surf the web at a good speed, as well as type papers etc.

4. Least amount of lag possible.

5. I would love a webcam and mic built in. Not a necessity, but I prefer it.

6. Something that looks somewhat decent. The looks don't really matter, but if there is one that looks nice, and meets my specifications, I want it.

7. The "DUH" things like WiFi. You know.

8. I decent screen size. 15"?

NO MINIS

I know I have a low budget. I'm just looking for the best I can get fur under $300 right now.

So, what do you think? Here are two that I saw for pretty low prices at Walmart. If they're a definate yes/no then please tell me. All other suggestions are being accepted, thanks for your time. :D

I'm not being rude when I say this, but you will not find a decent laptop for under $300. Not even if you go a little over. You were almost okay until you said you didn't want any lag. Regardless, compaqs are trash.

I understand how low my budget is. I'm just looking for the best deal I can get for under $300. And I don't have the cash right now to do any more than that.
