Do you absolutely need a laptop?

That thing is insanely overpriced, and while I do like MSI laptops (I own 2) I would never, ever, ever pay that kind of money on something I can't upgrade down the road.

You could spend a fraction of that money and build a PC tower that would decimate that laptop.

If there was ever a bad buy, this laptop is it.. WAAAAAY OVERPRICED!

I understand your opinion but its not overpriced for the things it comes with. it really isnt. and i do need that laptop. its a desktop replacement. i travel alot.

Some people think the price is fair for what it comes with and what it can go against other laptops.

First ever laptop mechanical keyboard
different design on any other laptop
other laptops you can barely change the Fan or clean them (Not MSI)
and its pretty damn powerful.

It is Upgradable, also a friendly Top panel that wont ruin warranty

im too tired to write it all but research more on it.

if you have any suggestions for me to change the Customization, please let me know.

Thank you for your reply and opinion.

OK I know this thread is a few days old and I haven't checked prices or specs against the MSI, but just throwing this out there as a suggestion: look at the Lenovo ThinkPad P50 and P70 laptops and also see if Dell or HP have any other workstation-grade machines that match your requirements. Yes, they're big, heavy, have poor battery life, slower than a desktop and are expensive, but that's the price you pay for performance and portability I'm afraid.

if you are using it for basic browsing and email, buy a 200 dollar laptop from hp?!
