Hello,
I just got Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A and wireless laser mouse 6000 for my desktop. I downloaded the latest driver from Microsoft website and installed it on my Intel Core 2 Quad computer. Every 5-10 minutes both of my wireless keyboard and mouse would pause for about 3 secconds. This happen when I drag the mouse across the screen or selecting an icon on my desktop. Initially I thought that the cpu usage must be at 100% when this occured. But this is not the case. The pausing occurs when the cpu usage is less than 50%. More over, it is not possible to type while the keyboard is in the pause mode. But as soon as it got out of it, I would get a repeating for one of the key I pressed. Even though I only press a key once, it returns something like 7-10 time of that keys.
One thing that troubles me is that this wirless keyboard and wireless mouse works perfectly on my AMD Athlon 64 Computer that also run Vista 32-bits Ultimate.
