Please HELP!!! Noone has been able to help so far!

I have a huge problem guys please help. My internet browser (wether it be firefox or IE) doesnt matter, when a site is typed into the address bar no matter what it is ie:www.myspace.com or youtube.com, when typed and go is hit to load that website the browser automatically loads up a google search results page for the website as being searched.

So if youre trying to go to www.youtube.com, you get to go to a google seach results page for "www.youtube.com" showing you the top results for "www.youtube.com"

This is very annoying as you can imagine, and has severly limitied my computer's abilities. I am now on a different computer on my network in order to research this?

Please help before this computer meets my cars tire :confused:


I have tried to clear private data, cookies, cache? I have Norton Antivirus 2008, i cant figure this out!

are these links to sales websites or do they take you to the legitimate site?
it sounds like something i've come across, you could have a hijacker. run ccleaner, spybot S&D, adaware, virus scanners, etc.
