Please Help, Trojan (I Think)

Hi,
i scanned my Laptop with Norton 360 and it said I had a 'trojan.Brisv.A!inf' but there was no option to remove it. The trojan is in a music file called 'september.mp3' and when i go to delete it my computer crashes and the task bar dissapears and the sometimes when it does work it says cant delete, the file is in use. I cant delete it. I also noticed when I just restarted my PC some old files I have on my desktop flashed on for like a milisecond.

Please please help and thanks for reading

I don't know if it's the type of virus that is giving you this problem but I would recommend you get a better virus protection. I at one time had norton and it found a virus on my computer and it also didn't give me the option to delete it. I went with AVG and it found the virus and got rid of it.

Are you running the 64bit version of Vista? I believe you are. If thats the case then combofix won't run on 64bit. Have you tried going into safe mode and deleting that file? If you still can't get it deleted then try a program called Unlocker. It will unlock files in use and then will allow you to delete it.
 
i am only running 32 bit. I have just started my laptop in safe mode and managed to delete the file. Is there any way it could of infected other files and what is the best antivirus. Should i get a firewall ect...

I use AVG free edition and trust it. I see that you have Nortons which is a resource hog and not really the best in catching everything. Are you behind a router? If so, then the router acts as a firewall. But you can always use the windows firewall or install your own. Zonealarm, Comodo and Kerio(now called Sunbelt) are free.
