So I recently got a new EVGA Nvidia GeForce 210 1gb. It is only recognized as a Standard VGA Adapter, I know this is because the graphics drivers need to be installed/updated!

My problem is once I have downloaded the drivers from Nvidia's website, I install them and then restart my PC and it freezes on the starting windows screen, so I restart it! Then I get start up repair when my PC boots up and it resets back to an earlier point in time thus removing the "problem" aka the graphics driver!

PLEASE HELP I NEED THIS SORTED URGENTLY!

Are you sure you are downloading the correct version of driver for your system ?

Which version of windows are you using ?

I am running windows 7 and the graphics driver is called "GeForce R320 Game Ready Driver"
Which Nvidia's website gives you

Thank you so much, but there is a new problem the computer freezes on starting windows and then when restarted uses the startup repair and then asks me to restart which then again freezes on the starting windows!

What is the computer's specs? A 210 isn't good for much of anything.

Restore it to an earlier point, uninstall the current drivers, reboot, use driversweeper to make sure there arent any bits left anywhere, then install the new driver

The computer specs are not too good but I am not looking for OUTSTANDING performance I just can not turn it on as it is in this loop!

What video card was in there before you put the new one in? It should boot to safe mode, uninstall the driver and reboot.

I had a geforce 8400s in there before and I uninstalled the drivers for it, if I boot in safe mode will that not mean that I wont be able to see anything on my computer?

Or what if I install this new one I have been given by these lovely forum posters and then uninstalled this bugged one?

What is I run in safe mode, install the driver posted here and then remove the old one? Cause the card is brand new, it came today!?

Boot to safe mode with networking and download driver sweeper and run it. Then boot to regular mode and install the driver we linked you to.
