Please Help Usb Problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

k so i was just surfing the net just doing w/e then this thing pop up in the corner saying something about the usb, didn't really pay attentioon to it, then suddenly my mouse stopped working, so i switch to another one of the 4 usb ports i have on my motherboard, the mouse worked for a couple seconds then it stopped, i tried all the 3 left over usb ports and they did the same thing
now all usb ports dont work at all, my ipod, my mouse, nothing usb works, i really need my computer , need it for photoshop.
i'm getting around ok with the keyboard for now lol
anybody know how to fix this
motherboard is a ASROCK am2nf4g-sata2
also my onboard ethernet just stopped working for no reason to
please help me lol
feel like beating my computer with a sledghammer

if you recently installed a USB device that can cause them to stop responding....if this is the case and even if not i would try this anyway start your device manager and click "scan for new hardware" if that doesn't work try restarting and disabling and enabling the devices in the device manager...

i've never used the device manager before where is it located

right click my computer...click properties then the hardware tab and device manager

have you tried restarting? windows should detect your USB ports on boot up

what if you deleted all the keys or what ever under the usb then restarted then windows would find new ones
