Well, most games only use 2 cores, so the fact that it has 6 or 4 is not relevant. Also, he is running close to 5760 x 1080 (3 x 24 inch monitors) resolution, which in modern games bottleneck that CPU. There are various examples on the internet where smaller resolutions in games life Crysis bottle the 1100T.
Also, logically, if he raises the clocks and receives no return in FPS, it does point to the CPU. A way to tell is to monitor the CPU usage during gaming or overclock and see if that gives more FPS.
Bottlenecks are exaggerated, unless you're running anything Core 2 Duo or lower you won't see much if any bottlenecks.
I disagree, my E8400 was definitely bottlenecked in games with even an overclocked 5770. It would run at 100% during gaming, and the E8400 is a faster processor for games than a 1100T that ony have 2 threads due to the architecture efficiency.
Look, im not saying its definitly bottlenecked, and don't take much notice of 3DMark, but it sounds like your system is suffering due to lower clock speed on the CPU, rather than GPU.
