Please help with error messgae CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR

HELLO ALL, I WAS MASSING AROUND WITH THE VCORE VOTAGE LAST NIGHT, AND MY COMPUTER END UP NOT BOOTING, SO I RESET THE BIOS
AND EVERYTHING WAS SET TO NORMAL, AND START THE COMPUTER, IT'S ALL FINE AND NO WARRNING BEEBS FROM THE MOTHER BOARD AT ALL. BUT WHEN COMPUTER KEEP BOOTING, IT WILL JUST SHUT OFF AND START OVER AGAIN. WHEN I DO RESET THE BIOS I WILL GET A MESSSGAE OF CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR. PLEAES HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM. I REALLY CAN'T LIVE WITH OUT MY COMPUTER FOR EVEN ONE DAYS

yes. i just call the gigabyte they told me the same thing, I am going to try it tonight, if it doesn't work I will keep you updated!

I thought that too, but since it was fine till he starting messin with his voltage, thought he might have something screwed in the bios!
 
if you reset the bios,,and the error is displayed again try to replace some backup-battery,maybe it is damage,,thats all....khajeff
 
its pretty common the Pc gives the CMOS checksum error when you resetted the bios using the jumper or by popping the battery out,. just enter the bios, save settings, and reboot.
