i just ordered a new XPS desktop from dell . and i set up my wireless router to my other computer at home. i was wondering since im pretty noobish with computers, how would my new XPS hook up to the internet?..i dont get it :(

You just setup a network at your home and connect wirelessly to it..

We have 5 computers here on network...many homes have that or more...schools and businesses certainly have more...

Make sure you do a password so that your neighbors cant steal your inet on your tab..

okay , but how do i connect my new computer to it. like i said ..im a noob lol do i need something in my computer that will pick up the signal..or whatever it is or is it allready there?

No problem man..

Yeah you will need a usb or pci wireless card/adpater.

They arent too much money at all.

Unless the xps desktop comes with one? That you will have to check..if it has it..you are laughin//and just need to setup a network which takes about 2 minutes/..not even

After that you just setup a home network..

Are you using XP? Vista? or something else?

If it's a new laptop it will have a wireless card on it... Sometimes theres a little switch on the side of the laptop that turns the card on and off. Maybe use the manual and figure out if you have it turned on.
