Please Help

I recently replaced my dads mobo in his pc and everything went alright expect i cant connect to the internet. i set the ip address to the same one it had but comes up with a message saying that the ip address is already assigned to another network adapter "VIA compatible fast Ethernet adapter" it all so says it is hidden.

Any help please
 
Set it up to where it getting the ip address from the dhcp server automatically. Also, you do have the router setup correctly if you are running off a router?
