my USB port only runs v1.0USB cable

is there any sort of adapter or converter available that i can plug in a 2.0 USB cable and then plug in my 1.0 usb port so that it works?

Do you mean that the port on the computer is 1.0, and you want to get it to 2.0?

If its a 1.0 USB port on the computer, than the only thing you can do to get it to 2.0 is to buy an Add-On card, you can buy these online or at a store like bestbuy (stores are much more expensive).
