J jetster New Member Jan 3, 2006 #1 I've got a pentium III at home, been working alright for a year but now it's causing a problem. Everytime i turned off the pc, it's just restarted so i have to turn the pc off twice before it goes off. any ideas why ??

LaptopExtreme VIP Member Jan 3, 2006 #2 Could be a faulty power supply. Whenever there's a spike or a wierd/unstable voltage, it can automatically restart itself.
