Please help!

Please see my sig for specs, I am having trouble with pages loading fast on the internet, my internet connection is cable at 4 meg download but it seems slow to load pages. In my nvidea hardware monitor it said that the voltages were to high for the gpu so I went in and lowered them until the icon was green but did not seem to remeady the situation, any thoughts as to why it is happening? I have the latest drivers installed.

35 processes are running on my pc and I am running xp home addition.

lyncsys router also hooked up.

Run HiJackThis and post a log in this here thread, I'm sure a clued up bod will have a look to see what is running.

Double check your download speed.
Go here www.speedtest.net and chose the closest server to your geographical location.

If that looks fine then it is most likely software related.

I doubt it has anything to do with your graphics card as you mentioned it with the volts being slightly out. Unless you experience graphical lag on web pages then it is a no to hardware most probably

So do some antivirus/spyware scans and yes as GCR said post a Hijackthis log which a admin may be able to help with and as Rambo said it would be interesting if you tried a different web browser to see if you have the same trouble.

thanks guys, yes I have tried firefox and it was slower than ie,. My internet seems rock solid most of the time.

Nothing here that'd cause these problems. Did you install the google toolbar or was it bundled with something else?

Run Hijackthis and select "Do a system scan only", place a check by the following entries.

Close all open windows and browsers, and hit "Fix Checked".
