PLEASE help!

I am experiencing random restarts but only during boot. While in Vista it does not restart itself or freeze, and works great. But when I reset, it resets itself at least once, the most recent time it reset itself six times before booting into windows. What is going on? My PC is in my sig, and I just got a new motherboard (in sig) and that is when the problems started. Bios problem maybe?

Have you flashed the BIOS for your new motherboard or is it the most recent version?

I have not done anything with the Bios, I have not flashed or updated it. Should I have?

its in my sig, i just RMA'd it. the problem with the other one was that it was excessively draining the cmos battery. no other component was broken, and now that i have this new board, its doing all this...

There might be something faulty with the hardware...like the RAM, this happened to me, and the RAM fixed it, it might work for you.

go here http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/motherboard/index.htm find your board, i dont see AA listed and then download the driver and bios updates for your board. See if that solves it.

Why would I go to intel's site? Clearly I have a Foxconn motherboard? I think I may have solved the problem though, I think my newly updated video driver did not agree with my PC

Intel makes the CHIPSET 975x but surely other companies use it on their boards. That is like saying NVIDIA and ATI are the only video card manufacturers (NVIDIA doesn't even make their own chipsets into cards). Usually 3rd parties are responsible for the final products.
