Please i need help

my wireless rountre is not working and i need my network surcirty no. but i don't know where it is or how to find it can any one help me please

also i am looking to set up a xbox wireless adapter but i need my ip address and password but i don't know where to find that either can someone please help

have you changed the router password or kept the oringal, some routers have the default password on sticker on the router itself it may help
if you have changed it and need to to get back to the default password (assuming you know what it is or it is on the box) you can do a hard reset on the router which will reset it to default settings but you would need to reconfigure the router completly with username and password as it would wipe all settings (that is if you router also contains a modem) what router is it? usaully default passwords for routers can be obtained quite easily

with the xbox i dont own one myself but id imagine it should pick up the ip address automatically all you should need is the password
