The XFX is a better board, if you plan on SLI, or even triple SLI. If you don't plan on using 3xSLI there are plenty of other boards out there that will do the trick for less money.

i have some one selling the xfx board for 180 , brand new, so you think i should get the board??

i have another board in mind:

TYAN S5197G2NR LGA 775 Intel 3010 ATX - you think this board is good?

YES. The E8400 using 45 nm technology,s clocked at 3.0 GHz, and has 6MB cache. The E6550 uses 65 nm, is clocked at 2.33 GHz, and has a 4MB cache. So the E8400 is faster, will run using less power, and will stay cooler than the E6650. For 1 dollar more I'd say it's worth it ;)
