Hi

I have the new Civilization patch "Beyond the Sword", when i install it, i have no problems what so ever. But when i try to launch it, even from the image, it says "Plese place the correct CD-ROM".

What can I do? Seriously need help, I'm ttly lost!

welcome to the forums,Akanth please take your time to review the rules.
Ok to your question, what image are you launching from, the game itself ?
probably when installing the patch some files got modified, it also depends on the game version make sure you applied the correct patch version (same as your game).
even if you successfully installed the patch and it's not the correct version you will end up with a corrupted game install
 
First, thank you so much for answering!,

and its not really a patch, its more like a new realease,
with its own shortcuts and all that like Battlefield1942 had
Battlefield Road to Rome and Call of Duty had CoD:UO.
I can play the original game (Civ4), but i can't get the Civ:BtS
to load from Daemon Tools, it seems to go for my real cd drive
no matter what :(

I have bought it, but i want to play it on the buss (have to take an 8 hour buss ride to get home every week) and if i use the cd rom it'll take my battery down in like 30min so i figured if i downloaded it i could get some more time.. so please! help me with this!
 
well downloading is illegal to talk about here I'll pm one of the mods and see if I can talk about it
 
so you looking for a no-cd crack which we arent allowed to discuss. I sympathies that your situtation may be genuine, but that doesnt change the law. Im sorry, there are other boards out there that may be able to help you with you problem, but not here
