Ok so I rebuilt my computer and I don't know if my psu can handle my new specs
Here they are
Biostar ta790gx a2+ mobo
Amd phenom 2650 2.3 ghz
(2x2gb) 4 gigs of ddr2 800mhz dualchannel
Ati radeon 4670 1 gig by visiontech
Wd 7200rpm 500gig hd
500 watt psu
Will it handle it

What exactly 500 watt psu is it, if its a china brand... no. If its a good brand psu then yes. Model and brand?

Do you have a link to the power supply from your newegg order history(or wherever you bought it from)? Then we could verify whether its good enough for your rig;) As far as cheaper power supplies, the OCZ StealthXstream 500w is on sale for $59.99 at newegg, $49.99 after rebate.

Yeah, thats just one of those crappy power supplies they include into cases, those psu's prolly cost around $10 to make, and they are added to cases to make em seem like a better value. it is indeed a china brand. Its hard to read the label but it appears to be 22.3 amps on 12v rail, which in reality it probably produces about half that. If you have the budget id recommend something along the lines of a corsair 550watt, but an ocz stealthxstream 500 watt would work fine for ya;)

I'm hoping to get very high settings on cyrsis but if I max out cod4 I'm good also I have about 45 dollor to spend on a psu somone point me to the right direction

Well, you aint gonna max out crysis on that rig, but you should be able to play on medium settings @1440x900 or 1680x1050 no aa/af.

OCZ OCZ500SXS 500 watt PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341012

Cost $59, use this code EMCLSLS25 to drop price to $49.99 and then there is a $20 rebate, making final price $29.99. Hard to beat for a name brand PSU.

Thermaltake Purepower W0100RU 500W $59.99 with $20 mail in rebate.

Those are just a few of the choices in your price range.

I'd seriously go with a Corsair PSU if you can afford it... it's worth it.

EDIT: You may want to go with a 4830 instead of a 4670... it should be better for gaming.

For the rig, and for the price... The OCZ is a great power supply. FSP makes the stealthXstream line of power supplies, the same people who make the zalman power supplies... which turned out on the 1000w model to have a higher load capacity and lower ripple than the corsair 1000w(albeit they were using better components in the higher priced models lol). For all intents and purposes, you cannot beat a quality ocz power supply for $30 after rebates. The 400w low end corsair actually isnt quite as good as the 500w ocz, and the 450w corair($75 before rebate....) is just slighly better(then again for the price what do you expect)

It's just that I've had experience with a 500W OCZ StealthXStream and it seemed to be the cause of an overheating problem... maybe it was just that one PSU though. It was also a little noisier than I would of expected. They probably aren't all that way though.... I just much prefer Corsair.
