Please read very urgent

Hey i have a really annoying problem. I don't know what the hell to get.
Xbox 360 Elite or a good Desktop Gaming PC
---------Cons-------------------------------------Pros
nothing = not too much of a big deal -----nothing = i can live w/o it
= a little concerning------------------- = its pretty cool/useful
= very bothering---------------------- = AWESOME!!!

Desktop Gaming PC-

Pros-
-I get a giant variety of free games
-It's easier to aim
-I don't have to pay extra to play on-line
-I get faster downloads,(right now my computer can't even play Stick Arena w/o getting me disconnected), non-laggy gameplay
-A HUGE VARIETY OF GAMES FROM FPS TO MMORPG

Cons-
-If my friends come over, we can't play online fps together
-It's expensive to get a really good one
-I don't know much about computers (I don't even know how to take it apart)
-I don't know how to upgrade computer parts
-I have to install stuff like anti-virus (last time i did i had to completely reprogram my computer cuz it was a virus {windows anti-virus 2009 i think})


Xbox 360 Elite-

Pros-
-I can play fps with my friends if they come over or vice-versa
-It's portable, unlike a big desktop computer
-The console is less expensive than a good gaming computer
-It's very easy to install (don't have to worry about viruses and hackers)


Cons-
-Live costs $50 a year
-Soon it will be old and a new game station will be out
-I don't get a HUGE variety of games for free
-Joystick Aiming gets a little time to get used to

If you just want a gaming center get an XBOX...

If you do decide do go the PC route I'd recommend learning about the parts of a PC and building your own... you'll save a good deal of money.

build a PC if you need PC things done only. if your mostly just going to game its cheaper to get a new system every few years then upgrading a PC TRUST ME. get an Xbox 360.

i seen someone on youtube mod a xbox to play xbox 360 games but it was super laggy

me i would by a pc game

isnt there pc games that are two players you can buy controlars for the pc

I strongly disagree, PS3 is cool but the variety and quality of the games just isn't there, and when we are talking about gaming consoles, the only thing that matters is the games.

If you're looking for purely gaming, than like you said both sides have pros/cons. If most of your friends have have Xbox 360 though, I'd say get that, because online gets really boring unless you have people to play with. And $50 a year isn't really that much considering the 360 offers the best online service (Xbox Live).
