Please review my set up

The only thing that you would ever want to change is to go to SATA
Funny, you are looking at the same processor i bought 2 days ago and you have the same Graphics card that I have now, but not for long

That system looks a bit outdated as it has a agp 939 motherboard. I would suggest you start over and go either AM2 or core 2 duo as it will be much easier to upgrade, seeing there aren't any new agp cards are there anymore.

Well i have a Radeon 9800 pro and its an AGP and I don't have the money for another graphics card right now. Is there a decent mobo with both agp and pci-e?

I know they do make them, but I dont think they are very good. I would personally get a PCI-E motherboard now that has integrated graphics then use that until you can make moeny for a better card.

Preferably around $500 but I wouldn't mind spending a few dollars more on parts here or there if they're going to be much better or beneficial in the long run.

I wouldn't touch a Gigabyte board with a ten foot pole personally, but the CPU is fine on a limited budget. If you can't afford the PCI-e don't worry about it, just grab an AGP board. You are going to spend a LOT of money for a PCI-e card that is worth having.

Don't go PATA. That standard went out of date when Fred Flinstone had a computer. :)

Motoxrdude, I appreciate you building me one on the other thread. I'm just getting several opinions to open up my options and see what is available.
