If you are reading this I hope you can help me. I've got a toshiba p205. There was nothing wrong with it, just full of alot of stuff so I was recomended to do a full recovery with the disks I was given with it when it was new. Everything seems to be going along fine for the formatting part but when it gets to 100% it comes up with recovery error and asks if the cd rom is in the right place and to verify this, then press any key to quit. hoppfully a simple problem but its got me buggered. Please help and if I ever meet up with you I'll buy you a beer or 2. Thanks

Cannot locate the CD-Rom drive !
Please verify whether this machine's CD-Rom drive is correctly set or not.
Press any key to quit.

When I press a key, in the top left hand corner of the screen appears, in dos, I think

D:\>

It's got me buggered what to do next? Thanks

You should be able to set it back to factory settings without using the discs, check your manual.

Replace the disk, and then press any key"
