Hello I am planning to assemle a new desktop.I use it for movies and internet and selected games like call of duty wich require a a good config.
I have planned on Intel Core i7 920 2.67ghz. Can you suggest me a decen configuration with it.I am not a hardcore gaming but would like to be able to run any game on my PC i just need the CPU configuration like graphic card motherboard and a good CPU.My range is limited but i cant tell u that as i have to buy in UAE where the prices differ from the online so you cant possibly suggest me on the basis of range. But i would like a nice graphic card.

If you want Core i7 you're going to pay $1200.00 USD or more.

If that's in your budget, look up the parts in my signature.

Will this board work motherboard this is much cheaper for 205 bux

That board will work, but it's an "Open Box" item, which means
that it only comes with the board, no cables, input/output panel,
driver cd, nothing. Just the board.

This case is the ultimate for airflow:

I've heard these work well too:

These do not come with a power supply. I would recommend these:

the power supply is overkill. Can i buy the PSU here itself because here the total casing with power supplis costs no more than $50

gtx260 graphics card reqiures 36amps on the 12volt rails

1st psu has 20amps on 2 rails (40amps)
2nd psu has 24amps on 2 rails (48amps)

corsair tx750watt has 60amps on 1 single rail....

if you chose either of the 2 psu's you suggested they might run your rig but wont be much room for extras!

not sure on your 1st choice, it might not even run your pc

Cn you suggest the cheapest PSU that will be able to run my CPU
And thanx for the reply

your second choice will run your setup, but if i where you i wouldnt choose cheap stuff like that and spend a fortune on the rest of your setup!

everything you put in your computer rely's on your psu to drive them, seriously dont buy rubish power supply cos if it frys it might take a componant with it!!
