pls. Advise problem solving

Hi to all,
sorry if this is not the right place but i nees osme help.

I have buld a pc and i want to put windows 7 64-bit.

Intel i3 540
Gigabyte H57 3USB
4GB RAM
1TB HDD

I put a 64 bit windows 7 but it still identify my procssor x86 ? why is like that, in the win menu is 64 bit system, and the processor is x86.
also i have a wifi pci card that has only drivers for 64-bit operating system, but works on 32bit pci slot/. what is the tifference. And my pc freezes for a while

i will do it, but now i on my laptop because i wait for the new monitor.
what is better to have 32 and not have full 4gb of ram, or to go for 64 bit or my pc is too slow for this performance.

There's no reason 64bit should not work.

Where does it say your CPU is x86?

64bit. Your system is built for a 64bit OS, the i3 540 is a 64bit cpu.
