Plug And Play Monitor Help

Hello there i have a plug and play monitor, with in built speakers... I recently formatted and found that i have no sound through these speakers.. I'm not sure what the problem is here.. I have downloaded the new AC 97 drivers.. But sut still no luck. Any help much appriciated thank you.

No.. i never got any motherboard drivers.. i dont have the cd either.. is there anyother way to get motherboard drivers.. I can give you motherboard details if you want them.

Yes need the motherboard make and model. You did plug the speakers into the right port?

Just a stupid question here... but did you plug the speaker cable from back of computer into monitor????

Sorry for asking but sometimes the most obvious gets forgotten.

Yes the tiny wire is plugged in from the main monitor cable to the speaker input.
