Do you have the latest Intel Chipset drivers?

Personally I haven't had much luck with orthos, on my systems orthos runs for a bit but then crashes yet every other program runs flawlessly. That's just my personal experience with orthos though..

How long has it been since you finished the build, it could take a week or sometimes more for the pc to work out the kinks within the system... My pc was crashing at least once per day for the first 1.5 weeks after my build, but since then its been running peachy :)

generally I don't think a PC just "works out the kinks"

Sorry if this is offensive, but that's absolute bull dude.

If a computer is acting like that you have hardware issues, most commonly a failing harddrive causes these weird problems.

I'm not saying the computer "fixes" itself that would be ignorant...all I'm saying is that within the week of first installing the computer you can eliminate what the problem could be, whether its by installing updates, patches etc. I'm only saying this bc I had similar problems on my computer 1.5 after the build and the people on this website (not dogging anyone) told me that it was my RAM or Gfx card (and they both checked out at the store I bought it from, and also from my own tests)... it was only after eliminating everything else that i figured it was the Motherboard...

Ok guys i finally worked it out.
all the voltages where set to auto like i normally set them to on any computer an it wasn't giving the right amount of power when needed so i manually set them all an now it works great.
