Plz Read, I need advice pertaining to this issue

I think I have found a server that gives you a "worm", after you have been kicked. Okay, recently I was playing on the 3stooge.com server, you may have seen my complaints about the "brats" that server. Anyway, I was playing and was kicked for an accidental teamkill:rolleyes:. After I was kicked, I quit BF2 and didn't play for the rest of last weekend. Take note, I was playing the mod of BF2 Desert Conflict. I tried to run BF2 Desert Conflict last night and got to the Account Info screen and was stuck there for about 5min, growing impatient, I opened "Task Manager" and removed the BF2 Process. I think that server gave me a worm, as this happened once before and it took three days before I was able to run BF2. I am pretty angry about this, it embarasses EA, it harms loyal players, and I don't like it. I want something done about this. I am wiping everything "BF2" off of my PC and doing a fresh install of it. Is it possible that this server could have gave me a worm? What should I do about this? Can anyone lend a hand or start a petition? Has anyone had a recent experience with this? I find this no joking matter, they curse the players online and make me suspect them of worms, what kind of server is this?

This happend to me to. Unfortuantley i would be really pissed as this worm youve got does serious damage to your hardware so you might need to replace something.

I would seriously consider getting your local police force to contact EA and inform them that users on there gaming servers are causing criminal damage.
 
Before jumping the gun and calling in the Navy try talking to the Host of the Server and see what they say on the issue, it might be something out of their control, just make sure you have both sides of the story before you start throwing around accusations

Funny how this virus is only sent from another user so yeah im not jumping to conclusions mate stating hard fact.
 
I am pissed about, I got everything working after an uninstall of BF2 and my mods. I don't play on that server anymore, it only happens after you get kicked from it. I will get the IP, you guys can try it. It is with the Desert Conflict Mod. I love Desert Conflict, I want some of you guys to meet me on a server one day.

Not at all the person who sent him that virus and found a way to bypass his anti virus not only caused damage to his pc which city has paid hundreds if not thousands of pounds for but has also violated city’s right to play on there without having to worry about having any kind of problem like this. The person who virused him clearly knew what they where doing and clearly just wants to cause damage.

Intercity is well within his right to get Law Enforcement investigate this since others are at risk and his property aka his pc has been damaged. The correct term is his digital property has been vandalized and trespassed upon since the virus was sent from a person so therefore he has a strong case.

You dont pay a lot of money for a game to go online only to have some scumbag damage your pc. Put yourself in his shoes a knacked piece of hardware all because of someone sending a virus that broke past his systems security.

Just by planting a virus on intercitys pc this person has gained unlawfull access to his system which carrys a severe prison sentance or a fine.

Intercity im sorry to be the only person on this forum to tell you this is a matter for the police to deal with. No one wants to tell you this since they would rather not give you the proper answer and bad news.

I traced the IP, Herndon.

64.34.210.253

What should I do? I can't expect the FCC to do anything, I emailed them and they emailed back two months later saying they can't do anything about trojan worms that lead to fraud. Spydawn was the matter.

Contact the persons Internet Service Provider and give them the i.p and inform them that the user is commiting criminal activities and that if they fail to take action against the individual that you will contact the media and inform them that they the Internet Service Provider of 64.34.210.253 refuse to do anything about the damage to your pc.

That will get them to not only contact you but will also get them to suspend this persons account and forward details of what they are doing to the users local police force.
