So, anyone have a hack for viewing transparent PNG's in IE. There are several solutions but they are all designed on you actually embedding the image on the page in <img src> tags, the PNG's i need to hack are referenced by external CSS file, so are unaffected by these solutions.

Anyone found one or got one that works with images based on being referenced in by CSS...?

Cheers, dragon

What the hell....??!?!!??! No, that's not what i meant, lol... a PNG hack, or a workaround if that makes it easier to understand... There is absolutely nothign illegal about it, lol...

Yeah sorry :P, My englih vocab is not as big as my french vocab :D

yeh, google does come up with some, but they only govern <img> tags, im not using them, my images are all referenced in my CSS document, they aren't embedded in the HTML at all.

seems no one has bothered trying to create something to combat it this way before, im nowhere near bright enough to do anything like that. im sort of stuck

cheers rambo

unfortunately I've tried that one aswell, that is just a javascript solution, where as the others used a CSS or HTC file method, none of them cover referenced images from a CSS document.

oh and dave or dragon i really don't mind
