Pocket PC Windows mobile 5 & Windows 7

I am hard-core XP user who is considering upgrading to Windows 7. I also depend very heavily on a Dell Axim x51V running Windows mobile version 5. I know that Vista had a Windows mobile tool built into the Vista operating system, but I was wondering if the Windows 7 will be compatible with my organizer if it would sync or not I know when I bought it it depends on a piece of software called Microsoft ActiveSync to synchronize between my computer and Outlook and somehow with Vista you didn't need software at all it automatically did it. I never use Vista as a system that I use for my computer so I was curious as to if seven would be compatible at all with my old PalmPilot or should I say Pocket PC if it is incompatible I may be stuck with XP for a little while till I can get a new organizer, but I would really like to upgrade.

Well first off there is a OS portion of the forum that would be better at answering this. Microsoft has made great strides to make windows 7 compatible with portable devices but i couldn't tell you. I do know it can run everything xp can so as long as you have the software or a website to get it your fine.

If your still running xp its time to upgrade, shouldn't be two OS's behind.
