Pokemon XY

So a few weeks ago, Pokemon XY was announced, and I was just wondering what you thought about it? It looks completely different to me, but I don't know whether I can see it taking off. The graphic style seems to have completely changed, and I don't know whether I can see it suiting the game play. We will have to wait and see. But any comments?

I can't say anything for Generation 4 or later since I never bought a DS, but I used to love Generation 3. Those games were the best. I used to have a freakin awesome Flygon and Sceptile.

I prefer the new generations. Better storylines. POWERFUL POKEMON. And really interesting twists to the stories.

I bought a DS a while back basically just for pokemon because they were still pokemon games. But I am not getting a 3DS just to play a pokemon game that looks like that.

I think BW2 have been the best games by far.

I mean, a unevolved LV20 being able to easily beat a level 25 of which it is weak to is fantastic.

This is the first pokemon game I've been interested in since pokemon gold/silver. I've been waiting for a pokemon game like this. They were just upgrading everything so gradually I had to stop. I have a 3DS, so yeah I'm buying it.

I've followed Pokemon ever since I was 10 and the days of playing the Gold Version on Gameboy Colour. I can't wait to see X & Y Versions and the 6th generation. I wonder what generation 6 first starter Pokemon will be.

It was Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle in generation 1, Chickorita, Cydaquil and Totadile in generation 2, Treko, Torchick and Mudkip in generation 3, Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup in generation 4 and Snivy, Tepig and Oshawatt in generation 5 if I've spelt them all right.
