Honestly i don't see no diff for myself. 32 bit and see's for me see's 3-1/2.
64 is on it now and see's 4 gig. BUT some have said it will still use the difference with 32 bit.
Ya just don't see it. Big deal? don't know. I say 4 gig let it go. Over and more then 64 bit.

I voted other. Not because there is another option, but because I use my laptop and desktop about equally and my desktop is 64 bit and the laptop is 64/32. Its 64 Linux and 32 bit XP.

When I have ran 32 Ubuntu I noticed about 200 MB of memory difference but 64 bit does seem a little faster and from I have read that has something to do with the 64 bit cpu.

Linux is one of the exceptions. Without shared gfx, you should be able to use all of it as normal system ram. The pae kernel is not restricted as in Windows.
