Here is the deal.
I just rebuilt one of my old computers and I am now thinking about a vid card and a TV tuner.
I am not a gamer but want a card that is at least:
Dual monitor capable.
Possibly may start Folding a little bit, but that isn't really important.
I still would like it to be able to do some light gaming in case of young company.
Budget about $100 on the vid card, less wouldn't hurt my feelings any. (I'm a cheap bastid)
I was looking at this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121442
The MB is a Gigabyte with:
1. PCI Express 2.0 x16
1. PCI Express x1
1. PCI Slot
I also want to get a TV tuner with remote possibly, I was looking at a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1250 but I am open to suggestions.
I need it for over the air digital reception.
I have a amplified antenna at 100' and it pulls in a ton of stations.
I will be using it on W7 and plan on being able to feed my satellite box into it.
I want to cut power usage by not using the old CRT TV and my comp is always on anyway.
So fire away with suggestions.
