Hello folks, Im starting a thread on the issues im having with my pc. This gaming rig i purchased is not performing very well. I am getting fps in the teens for games like crysis, and getting serious fps dips in other games such as metro, crysis 2, dragon age 1 and 2. I figured this build should be able to handle most games at max settings. Im going to post pics of every diagnostic tool I can find, hopefully we can get to the bottom of it. Thank you all very much in advance! :D

Heres cpu id info attached.

Already updated to 11.3, I have reinstalled windows, but I have not tried reformatting my hard drive. GPU's are only getting upto 43% under load, and temps under load are 43c... are my cards underpowered? Was playing crysis warhead.

Should also be noted that under windows experience index, hard drive rated only 5.9, everything else is 7.9 lol maybe the hard drive is the weak link?

Have you tried only using 1 card? Play around with using 1 card and see how it behaves.

If you look at the Hall of Fame on 3D Mark, the top performers didn't always have the most cards, they had 2 or 3, where some people with lower ratings had 4 cards.

Ok installed ccc 11.4 preview with 11.3 cap 3. Sooo much better performance! Crysis 2 runs at solid 60fps even with anarchy on the screen, vsync is enabled. Metro also around solid 60 fps considering the terrible coding. I was even able to get above 60fps with tessellation and advanced dof on! :D Crysis is still running like crap, so im going to try reinstalling

LOL here you are again xD Anyways, this might sound stupid but not every game is compatible with SLI/CrossFire, they add new games with every update of the videocard (even some old ones believe it or not...) Plus, new updates will improve performance as well :)

Where you go to the manufacturer website, or ATI @_@ seems like you do alright do downloading the preview one, download the next version when it comes available...:P:D:o;)

If you are running Vsync, all your games will be locked out at a max of 60FPS, if you Crossfired 6950s, no point in Vsync.

with your system, gaming at 1920x1080 is relatively low in terms of Screen Res, it shouldnt be problematic. I suggest a fresh copy of Windows, install your chipset drivers, then update the OS, followed by the latest ATI drivers. and before any other changes are made, install the game and test....

Good luck and happy gaming!
