pop up blocker

Sorry never tried it.But if your looking for web filtering e.g. popup blocking, let me recommend Kerio firewall 4.You can try the full version free for 30 days, then it stays the free version.Never had a popup since i began using it.As for cleaning, try CC Cleaner.It's free and gives you much more.
 
looks alright. funny ive never heard of it though. personally i use spyware blaster , which also has a white list, and windows washer for cleaning up your system. windows washer is $30, but theres a 30 day trial so you can try it out.

oh ya firefox and internet explorer both have built in popup blockers i use both firefox and internt explorer. wonder why i didnt think of that.

Ditch your firewall and try Kerio.It also gives you web filtering.It will block popups.popunders, advertisements,javascripts,active X, vbscripts.Will also filter foreign, persistent and session cookies.Will deny servers to trace web browsing and can be put in stealth mode which i was shown the other day on one of the tests listed on this site.You just have to experiment a little because it will block too much on some sites.I have a few that i know i have to untick this or that to make that one work.But it does a tremendous job and in the 2 months i used it, not one popup.

thats really cool and all. but when not just go simple with firefox. ive used it for 6 months, literally 2 popups. its so much easier.
 
I do use it and before i started using Kerio with web filtering, i did still get some but not alot.And that's all you get from firebox.Now i get everything else and NO POPUPS!.
