pop up problem

New Member
recently one of my children installed google task bar, i removed it but for some reason since3 then i have had a problem. i always use firrefox as my browser but when i open it i IE opens up at a website sublimemedia, and then goes to somewhere else usually asking me to adop an animal. i have run pop up blockers lava soft ad aware spybot search and destroy etc and this still pops up when i open firefox. what can i do to get rid of this problem
 
i have the same problem i removed them using this antiad aware it finds them and removes them but they just keep coming back

Reconfigure Windows XP to show hidden files:
Click Start. Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. Select the View Tab.

Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
Uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.

Run Hijackthis and select "Do a system scan only", place a check by the following entries.

Close all open windows and browsers, and hit "Fix Checked".

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Once in safemode, navigate to this folder and delete it.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Eggs mess pile joy

Then boot back to normal mode and post a new Hijackthis log, and say how things are now.
