Pop Ups for the first time in years

Suddenly all kinds of websites are popping up constantly. AVG is running no virus detected. Please advise.

I use Firefox and what pops up are random computer oriented ads and one horny girls ad. It's a nuisance. I went into tools and my pop up blocker on both Firefox and IE are on. It's about 1 every 3-5 minutes.
