I have been using internet explorer for a while now and i recently had a few problem that i never had before. there is this annoying popup that says your computer is infected please download winifixer 2005 and some other popups like poker.com ect they always seem to popup once in a while.. the other problem is when i use the browser and a seperate window pops up for the page the one behind it gets messed up and distorted. I have to reopen the origonal page again. I used many programs and the popus dont seem to go away. I used Ad-adware se personal , spybot search and destroy, microsoft antispyware, spyware blaster and i tested my computer for any viruses with avg free antivirus and the problem still occurs.
 
Download and run Hijackthis following the instructions here.

Don't run it until you've followed the instructions below.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Turn your computer back on.
  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
