Port Speeds

Hi, would like to know what the speeds of the motherboard ports are (Serial, I/O etc.)

Depends what you run them at For instance it used to be something like 19.2K for serial ports and then now you can hit 480Mbits with USB2.0

all serial ports are fairly slow. USB's however are much faster 1.1=1.5 Mb/s and 12Mb/s and 2.0=480 Mb/s. firewire can go up to 50 MB/sec. these now are most commonly used ports.
