Portable media player...

Just wondering if it's possible and if so can anyone recommend a media player to be installed onto a flash drive... Media player has been removed from several computers at work but sometimes we get company emails with advertising or training material which requires media player. Our IT dept. is in Singapore and the local techs don't seem to have the time or inclination to fix our problem.

Thanks in advance

If you can download to IPods you will be all set there. Those will run various media in the form of pod casts.

I don't have an iPod and not sure if anyone else does... It's more about being lazy instead of having to walk to the other end of the plant to check emails... I always have my flash drive on me so figured that would be the easiest way to go... Looks like I was wrong though...

Thanks PC eye.

The main problem you would have anyway is carrying a wireless device inside a structure. Too many things can cause interference even with a cell phone or laptop with wireless there. You would need a hard wired setup for this in order to network with the other system.
