My son has a Dell inspiron 2200 and the screen flashes red for a sec then goes blank...anyone know how to fix this He's driving me bonkers wanting to play on mine

The solution to a problem with dell is to get a refund and buy something else... as long as it's not a toshiba

I wish there were kits to build your own. Cause at least that way you could choose your hardware and OS and you have installation disks for everything.

By the way the phrase "POS Dell" is a redundancy........

Man, I wish I could find barebones that are actually good, they are so hard to find. I am not buying a barebone from MSI, I might consider Asus or Acer.
