Pos/Neg orientation of front panel leads on mobo header

Putting together a system with an HAF 912 case and a Gigabyte EP45 DS3L board. Regarding connecting the front panel leads to the mobo header, the header is marked - and +. Generally is the white the pos or the neg? Does the orientation matter on the HDD LED, Pwr LED, Reset, etc. ?

Thanks

I've never figured it out myself. I just plug it in and see if it works. You won't break anything if it's wrong.

I always found white to the top or front of the case seemed to work. For buttons it clearly doesn't matter, if you get the LEDs backwards and they don't light up just reverse the connector.

I've always put the positive toward the back of the case and usually that means the writing on the wires is facing down toward the bottom of the case instead of up toward the top.
