Possible Display Error

Okay so I turned my computer on this morning and it greeted me with a lovely error beep. It sounds to me like 1 long beep followed by 2 short ones. I looked it up in the motherboard manual & that told me that it was a display error. Which made sense because the monitor wasn't recognizing a signal. So I removed the GPU & cleaned it & reinserted it. Nothing. I removed the RAM & put it back in, this sometimes worked for errors on my old computer. Still nothing.

The only thing that has changed is, I installed FEAR last night. Played it, without a glitch for a few hours. Turned my computer off a few hours later.
Next thing I know it wont start :[

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if it boots try booting into safemode and unistalling fear but if it doesn't boot do you have a monitor connection on your motherboard? if you do try that

I don't think it boots, I can't tell because the monitor is inactive throughout the whole process. No I don't have a connection on the motherboard :(
Also. I tried a different monitor in the slot & it's inactive. First up I would say that the GPU has a fault, but as my first computer stuffed up, I tried my backup computer, which half booted then decided that it wasn't going to recognize the computer either just like my primary computer. Can it be just coincidence?
 
yeah, that's what i'm gonna do this afternoon.
I'm pretty pissed off really. My old computer had a $90 GPU & It was fine for 3 and a half years. I actually put the money into my new one, $400 & it's screwed after 2 months. Grrr

what brand is it cause it might have a lifetime warranty that would be nice
