Are you shooting for around ~$1250 specifically?
Depending on what you're trying to do I'd probably go with an i5 and a little less GPU at that price point.
Also, the V300 has really variable performance depending on what unit you actually get. A large percentage of them had slow asynchronous NAND that doesn't perform nearly as well as any of the review sites have posted (which used toggle NAND instead).
