Possible to put a thinner fan on this CPU heatsink?

What's a good suggestion for a normal sized HSF?
Patriot Gamer 2, Kingston hyperx (blue or red), Gskill Ares, Crucial Ballistix. Or any DDR3 with no heatsink would work too. My gamer 2 running in a hot system (my entire system runs hot) at 2133Mhz CAS10 is never hot to the touch. DDR3 really has no need for heatsinks at all with 1.5 or 1.65 volt dimms.

Ah, I thought you meant there is no need for the big heatsinks on the CPU coolers. I see now you must have meant on the RAM itself. I'm thinking of the GSkill Ripjaws RAM. It has "spikes" on it, which I assume are heat spreaders, but the RAM itself still seems small.

DDR3 can run around 25/35c idle and up to 45/60c under load depending on your voltage between 1.5/1.65V with good case air flow.

Yes, i mean the heat spreaders. the RAM itself is the same size, but the heat spreaders are bigger.

if the fan is added in the side of the ram many problems can be solved autometicaly.
laptop warm very soon! so that fan is very necessary for it
