i have magicISO to mount images but i have no blank dvds nor can i buy any as i am strapped for cash, is it possible to mount the windows 7 ISO image and upgrade from windows vista to windows 7 or is there another way with out USB flash or DVD

Thank about this for a second.. okay you ready? Magic Iso runs in windows. So it great if you use Iso's instead of the disc. however how could you possibly do what you want. It will not work. Go buy you a usb cd bruner. Good Luck.. Also the iso my be legit but where are you getting the Key from?? Is that legit???

i assume it gives like 30 days to enter one like in vista, but i have read of people doing this to install windows 7 as a dual boot, but im wondering if it will also work to upgrade

yea u get 30 days. but you will have to do a dual boot from a dvd not a iso. also if u do a dual boot you will have to change your disc partions. if you do not know how to do that make sure u read up on it because one slip up and u can kiss all of you data good bye... Honestly your best bet wait till you have the money and buy a blank dvd and burn it, check out some of the office supply chains they offten have great deals on media such as 100 dvds for 15$. then i would just do the upgrade to 7. unless u know how to do a clean install. but with vista it doesn't really matter if you are somewhat a basic computer user. what are your hardware specs??
