Possible VC problem? or somthing similar

howdy folks. im new to this here forum and would appriciate any help any one could give me.

firstly this is my spec

Asus p5vDC - X skt 775
intel P4 3.4ghz
Point of view 6800 GT pci-e
2gb corsair ddr2 memory
M-Audio 1010LT interface card - used for recording purposes and general sound
jeantech 500W PSU

thats pretty much all thats in my system atm

my problem is basically wenever i play a game the system reboots. it looks like a random occurance however i can play KOTOR 2 for a bit then it desides to reboot, however games such as archlord get to the point wer ya start the game and then it reboots. i think im speculatin by sayin its a graphics problem but i cant really think it bein n e thin else. everythin is virtually brandnew.

any help n e one can giv me would b greatly appriciated!

First of all, dont double post.
The issue could be that your graphic card overheats.
Check your temps...
 
yes,.. it could be your vid card overheating, try running those games with the sidepanel removed, and check if there is much dust in the fan of the grafic's card :)
 
still at a lose wat to do

ive opened up the temperature monitor and whilst running the game it gets to about 67C with a threshold of about 130C so i still dont kno why it wud be rebooting during gameplay?

n e thoughts?:confused:
 
was the grafic's card clean of dust? (heatsink and Fan)

Edit: could you aso check for me how much Ampere you have on the +12V rail
 
its clean

i cleaned the fan earlier and it was full of dust.. yet the problem persists.
how do i go about chekin the ampere?:rolleyes:
